A friend gave a copy of 24-7 Prayer Manual by Pete Greig and David Blackwell after I expressed enthusiasm for the idea. The edition I have is out of print but there’s a new one that probably has even more stories about the impact a 24-7 prayer event can have.

This is a solid “how to” book that can guide a person through the process of running a 24-7 prayer event. It has the little details you might want as you try to figure out how to do it, along with encouraging notes of how past events have led to amazing things. It’s a quick read — took me an hour or so — because it is short and has a flowing writing style that is easy to read. I found myself underlining a large chunk of it.

Highly recommended if you plan on hosting a prayer event.
