Years ago I sat on a board with Guy Kawasaki and learned to appreciate the passionate way he lives life. Nothing is halfway with Guy. A natural learner and a good leader, he is at his best when sharing thoughts on how to shape the future. Being around Guy is being around a force of nature.

So it surprised me when he wrote APE: Author, Publisher, Entrepreneur-How to Publish a Book. Guy struck me as the kind of person who publishers would happily sign to write a book, so why self-publish? But I took the thought no further because writing a book wasn’t on my horizon.
