Last night I dropped my son Jedd off at the airport and he headed to Thailand for seven weeks. He’s probably still in the air as I post this. D’Aun and I are excited for him, and equally excited for the great footage we’re sure he’ll create for the next SOLD Project video. He’ll be staying with Rachel and Kevin (his sister and brother-in-law), so we know he’s in good hands. We’re going to miss him, though!
There is still a bit of fundraising to do for this trip. Many of you may have received Jedd’s letter asking for support, and many of you have generously responded. But just in case you missed the letter, or missed his blog posts, then I’d love it if you would click on this link to read his letter, and then consider making a gift. Not a big reader of fundraising letters? Then try this link to his latest video update! Your gift of any size will help SOLD’s work and would be a big help. At the end of Jedd’s letter (or video) he explains how you can help and where to send a check. I appreciate you taking the time to consider this.
In addition to a gift, I ask you to pray for Jedd, Rachel and Kevin. Finding solutions to human trafficking is no easy task, and I admire my kids for taking on such a challenge. But it’s an evil industry that they are combating, filled with sadness and grief. To bring a bit of hope to this situation, they need all the blessings they can receive.
Thanks!
