I freely admit that I am proud of my kids. Last Friday Jedd got home from Thailand where he lived for 7-weeks. During his time there he worked on a film for The SOLD Project, which works to prevent child prostitution. It’s a dynamic organization that my daughter Rachel leads as Executive Director. She and her husband Kevin live in Thailand and are doing some great things.
So yeah, I’m proud of my kids. But what does that have to do with my birthday? Glad you asked …
It’s my birthday on December 8th. That’s the same night as SOLD’s end-of-year event at Wente Vineyards. I can think of no better birthday present than to have you attend and support my kids in their effort to support at-risk kids. You can enjoy some wine, bid on some fun silent auction items, and catch a preview of the film. Below is the invitation; click on it and it will take you to the invite page.
So come on out and celebrate with me. I might even buy you a glass of wine! And if you can’t make it? Well, I turn 52 … so a $52 donation to SOLD would be a pretty cool gift to me. In fact, for the first 52 people who give $52 to SOLD, I’ll match it. Yup, that’s right, give them $52 and I’ll match it with $52. So c’mon, what are you waiting for?
