Nearly twenty years ago we had an idea to create a research and education center in the middle of the Belizean rainforest. With the help of friends, family, the people of Belize, and of course a large dose of God-induced serendipity, it all came together in 1994. Since then Jaguar Creek has been used in incredible ways. Sitting on 700-acres of pristine rainforest, adjacent to another 1200-acres of protected lands and a National Park, it has been like a second home to my family. Today it is part of the PathLight ministry and serves as a base for educational programs, spiritual formation events, conferences and service teams.
I’ve been staying at Jaguar Creek the last few days, and I am very impressed with how the staff has kept the property looking fantastic. Here are a few pictures to give you a taste of this wonderful place.
