If you know me, then you know something about my appreciation of wine. I love visiting new wineries, meeting the farmers and winemakers, and popping open a cork to discover what has been created. D’Aun and I even moved to a wine region because we enjoy the ambiance so much.
If you know me, then you know something about PathLight International. In 2007 my friends Mark and Adrienne Parcher joined D’Aun and me to help at-risk students get through school. That’s led to a whole host of programs that focus on spiritual, academic and social development of youth.
So now I’ve got a fun way to connect the two. I’ve written before about Invino.com and how impressed I am with their online selection of wines, their pricing, and especially their service. This month — and apparently this month only — they are running their Uncork and Support program.
Invino is offering to give PathLight 10% of any proceeds. All you need to do is enter the coupon code PALIUS12 when you place your order. Not only that, but if you are registering for the first time, they will give you a bonus bottle!
But Roy, you might ask, which wines should I buy? Good question, and my honest answer is I’m not sure. Of the wines they have for sale as I write this, I’d have my eye on the 2006 Cordella Brunello di Montalcino from Italy and the 2007 Cafaro Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. The 2010 Azur “Solace” might also be a nice wine.
So if you want to support at-risk students while also enjoying a nice glass of wine, click here and sign up! Just remember to enter the coupon code PALIUS12 at checkout.
