I’m very excited to announce that I’ve signed a contract with NavPress for my second book! See my big smile in the picture? That’s me happily signing the contract.
Tentatively titled Salvaged: Leadership Lessons Pulled from the Junkyard, the book will be released in early 2019 if all goes as planned.
A number of people are deserving of mention for making this happen, but I want to mention three in particular.
First, thanks to D’Aun for graciously making the margin in our lives for yet another of my crazy adventures.
Second, thanks to Nancy Ortberg for telling me over a decade ago I should write this book.
And third, thanks to David Jacobsen for shepherding the whole process of brainstorming, co-writing sample chapters, finding an agent, and navigating the publishing world for me.
Oh, and a special thanks to Tawny Johnson at DCJA for believing in the project and finding a publisher.
So now what? Well, I have to start writing and get a manuscript submitted by the end of the year. Book concepts always change, including titles, but there will likely be 30 chapters of 1000-1200 words each.
Thanks for being part of my “team” and for all the encouragement. I really do appreciate your support!
