The publisher just shipped me actual hardback copies of Salvaged!
It’s fun to have the actual book in my hand. These early books are meant for “influencers” who will tell the world how great the book is and, hopefully, drive preorders.
Can you suggest people who should get a copy? Typically, it would be people who have a large number of followers. Social media is important of course, but it could also be a journalist, pastor, or anyone who can get the word out to a large number of people.
Just a few examples:
Beth Moore, who has 877,000 Twitter followers, and a loyal following of her books and bible studies
Gary Haugen, founder and CEO of International Justice Mission
Sarah Pulliam Bailey, who is the religion reporter for the Washington Post
Eugene Cho, founder of One Days Wages and recently retired senior pastor of Quest Church
Get the idea? These are folks who can tweet or post and write about the book and have a huge impact. And it need not be a household name — as long as they are known and have a large influence in their specific circle.
So back to my request. Do you know influencers who should get the book?
By the way, I don’t mean “know of” people, but influencers you actually know so you can provide an introduction.
