At long last, my second book is available! Salvaged was released on Tuesday.
People have asked how I spent that day celebrating. Truth is I spent it much like I’ve spent the last several days – in the backyard muttering, “Go potty, Holly, go potty.”
Our adorable new puppy keeps us busy. She weighs less than the keyboard I’m using right now (or so it seems) and yet I’ve still begun calling her “killer” for her aggressively playful behavior. She is a pistol!
Regarding Salvaged, I want to thank some of the folks who helped make the book possible. You created the space I needed to write (and prior to that, the space to lead). Thanks for believing in this book.
I know I’m going to miss some folks, but here are the ones I want to especially thank:
D’Aun – for giving me the time margin to do this.
Rachel and Jedd – for growing up with an imperfect leader/dad and teaching me so much.
Anne – for making me look more organized than I am.
David – for making my writing look better than it is.
Tawny – for advocating for the book.
Nancy – for suggesting the idea of this book to get it all started.
Bob – for writing the foreword, but mostly for being a friend.
David A. Zimmerman – for ticking me off during the editing process, but making the book better.
Robin and Amanda – for patience as I stumbled through book marketing.
Don – for believing in the book.
Plus, all my friends scattered around the world who posted, advocated, tweeted, and spread the word about Salvaged. You are much appreciated!
Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to take Holly out. Again.
