You’ve heard that I’m the new Interim CEO of PathLight International. One thing I’ve been pondering is how to integrate my writing with my role at PathLight, and I’ve come up with a plan. It’s a way to help PathLight, promote my writing, and give you something unique.
If you order a copy of my book Junkyard Wisdom Rebuilt directly from me, I’ll give 100% of the proceeds (up to five hundred books) to PathLight. I know, amazing right? You’re thinking, “Gosh he’s generous (and wow he has a lot of books in storage).”
Here’s how it’ll work:
- Each hardback book costs $17, which includes shipping (USA only, and include your address)
- The first 100 books will be signed
- Payment through Venmo @Roy-Goble (the preferred way) or www.pathlight.org/donate with a payment of $17 (but be sure to indicate it’s for the book!)
- You get a book for yourself or someone else, and PathLight gets an extra boost to serve at-risk students
This is a true win/win, assuming you want a copy of what some reviewers (i.e., me) are calling a “super duper awesome book!” (Seriously, though, it’s actually an excellent book, either for you or for someone you want to woo with painfully honest thoughts about generosity, justice, and what it means to follow Jesus.) And PathLight gets help continuing its mission to assist kids in Belize in reaching their God-given potential.
