Happy New Year, everyone! It’s been over a month since I’ve posted here. Thought I’d touch base and share a fun announcement.
The Advent devotions were so successful that we’ve decided to do another series for Easter. When I say “we” I mean all the people who helped on the past project. David helped with the writing, Anne with the editing, the good people at PathLight with the donation landing page, and the team at Parable with the marketing and behind the scenes tech stuff. Everyone felt like Advent was a big success, so thank you!
The Easter series will start sometime in March. Probably for 2-3 weeks.
And I could use your help.
If you read my devotions then you know they can be on the edgy side. That has drawn a uniquely authentic audience. About 95% of the readers love the devotions. Readers come from all walks of life: widows, college students, pastors, educators, business people. It’s a fun group.
But there are a few detractors. Fundamentalists hate them, theologians want to correct me, and some people are just too stuffy to handle them.
So about 10% of those who signup end up unsubscribing. I’m told that’s a great result, but it’s still a 10% drop in readers.
I’m hoping you can help. Who do you know who would enjoy these devotions? Please forward this to them and encourage them to sign up below! It would be much appreciated, thanks!
