And no, every package won’t be the same. We’re not putting together carefully curated gift boxes with matching contents and a little card explaining the significance of each item. We’re cleaning out closets, opening drawers, looking through boxes, and saying, “Hey, somebody might want this.” Then we’re sending it to you.

As for the books, Salvaged is about leadership lessons I learned growing up in a wrecking yard and over forty years of leading businesses, nonprofits, and ministries. It’s about finding value where others don’t see it, building good teams, making mistakes, and learning that leadership is mostly about people. It has, in my opinion, my very best stories.

Junkyard Wisdom Rebuilt is about faith, generosity, relationships, purpose, and trying to live a meaningful life in a world that doesn’t always cooperate. It’s a rebuilt and expanded version of the original Junkyard Wisdom, with new stories and a few things I’ve learned since writing the first one. It has, in my opinion, my very best wisdom.

If you already own one or both of them, that’s okay. Buy another copy and give it to somebody. Keep the junk for yourself. I won’t judge you.
